Removing potentiometer and test fire button
Quote from Stefano Papini on October 9, 2023, 10:06 pmHi,
I have an analog panel in my K40 and installing an MG3 made both potentiometer and test fire button useless. I'm wondering if I can safely remove both without issues.
I know that the central pot wire is already disconnected from the power supply since it is now used by MG3, but can I also remove 5 and 0 V from pot? And wires from test button?
I'm asking because I'd like to redesign the control panel and since these controls are of no use, I'd like to remove completely (I don't think that one day I'll switch back to original controller 🙂 )I'm looking to keep the 'enable' button since it seems to be functional.
Thanks!

The test fire button should also be removed. Because you can now do precise test fires using the Lightburn interface. See https://awesome.tech/test-fire-button-in-lightburn/
