MAX speed using mini GRBL
Hi everyone,
I have had my mini grbl installed in my K40 now for a while, im sure Dan & Paul will remember me.
I have a quick question regarding max mm/s speed. I have sort of come to the realisation that when i engrave over say 300mm/s there is absolutely no difference in speed.
i cant remember properly but whats the max speed output of the mini GRBL and if i change the $ setting which corresponds to this setting will it cause issues?
Hi Daniel, you can increase the max speed via the $ settings. The $ settings are the best possible speeds for customers who don't want the hassle of tuning the machine.
$110 and 111 are the max speed settings
$120 and 121 are the acceleration settings
Note X and Y are different because of the mechanical construction of the gantry. Best to experiment and slowly.
