K40 board does not have ribbon cable
O I see, the start of that post provided all the information which did not help you. Please let me know where you got stuck so we can back track to an issue and slowly debug the installation.
Hi, Guys. I think I have it wired up right but what do you do with the wire that was removed from the IN location of the power supply? It would have also have been great if some crimps were added to this kit. Have not powered it up yet, need to purchase a crimp. I also plan to use light burn so will let you know how it goes or if it works. Thanks in advance for any input on wiring as the video shown for installing this card is different from my machine.

Well I have been waiting almost a year now for some one to reply to my post ,is the forum still up? I will give it a few more weeks then I am removing the Gerbil and buying another system that has some support so I can use the K40. So if I can not figure this out I am not powering it and up and it will soon be forsale. Thanks in advance should anyone have an answer.
Well, I figured why wait any longer so I powered up the unit, green light came on and stayed on. The computers I tried did reconize when the usb was pluged in but none could load the driver all asked for instalation disk and of coarse nothing would work.Tried to find a driver for it but the site given for the drivers has lots of different drivers listed would be nice to have the right one already on the forum for use when needed. Well I guess time to buy some more new parts and hope they work as I can not get this to work.

I seem to have this board and wiring configuration too. However, I appear to Have a newer/different Mini Gerbil?
Can you help me understand how to wire to this alternate board?

I found the answer in another section of this forum ... sorry for posting in the wrong section.
I just threw the board in the trash and bought a new one in 5 minutes I then had a working machine. I have replaced many boards over my life time even on a large machines they are fairly quick to install with good instructions. So thank you for the super late reply and the dead board but Im done. Need a upgrade for th k40 get a Cohesion board easy to install lots of tutorials should you need it but with a good wiring diagram it is an easy install reguardless which K40 you have .
