| Symptom Detail | Likely causes and their solutions (in recommended sequence) |
| Safety Door opening does not halt machine operation | The optional Safety door switch connection is not properly connected (Safety door and ground). The switch should be a Normally Closed switch which is engaged when the lid is closed (e.g. switch is then in an open state. The switch closes when you open the lid which engages the Safety pause. Close the lid to resume the job) The $ settings needs to be activated ($97=1) as by default the safety door feature is inactive (further reading). | Reset/Abort does not reset machine operation | The optional Reset/Abort switch connection is not properly connected (Reset/Abort and ground). The switch should be a Normally Open.
