Quote from davegalesr on January 9, 2018, 10:49 amThe picture was imported at 381 dpi.
Resolution = 15 Pixel/mm
Color to Grescale conversion = 0.21R+0.71G+0.07B
Greyscale Resolution =256
Engraving Speed = 928
$30 = 2000
$28 = 0
The result is about as smooth as can be had from an engraving but feels rough of course - definitely not a relief.
This was engraved on 1/8 inch Baltic birch plywood and it is a 4x6 inch print.
