Still not working
Quote from Nigel Jones on September 3, 2019, 8:49 amHi I have tried to connect as per your instructions but I am having trouble with it seems the driver. I installed the driver but when I go into device manager it comes up with a code 43 and doesn't load the driver. Using your troubleshooting guide led 1 comes on but led2 does not even with a new cable from Jaycar. I think it is connected properly.

You can set the Mini Gerbil power to usb so the mini is fed via the USB cable via JP1 (5vExt,5vUSB bridge). This has helped some people when the could not connect via the USB port.
Did you download the software driver from ST.com?
Which OS are you using? Win10 does not need a driver and recognises the board automatically. Older OS'es need the legacy VCP comport driver https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html
Let me know the information and we take it from there
