Still getting used to Inkscape but the Gerbil results are great.

The color photo is the original. Printed at 15 pixels/mm and speed = 1500. Took about 2 hours. . Print is 6inches by 4 inches

The picture seems just one shade of grey and of course we want more grey shades 🙂
try to follow the calibration guide or lower its speed. Also try less shades to see how if differs to get a hint why it so single shaded.

I will try this print again at a speed of 1000 first and 750 if that does not give better results. I did this before your great advice on the second print I showed so before I understood the effect speed imparts. Photo to follow.
