I guess you saw Paul's recent blogs about engraving - they may be useful

would be great if you could share your settings (speed, DPI, power) and material so we can all compare results.

Sure.

grey Scale on LB.

300 dpi 30mm/s 17% power on MDF.

still working on fine tuning but happy with the results so far.
