Poor quality images

I have missing corners on objects and just poor quality. I have small, but not that small stars about 1/8" and letters 1/8" tall missing points, edges  and not fully engraved.

Now this is the same image I ran with the stock M2 NANO at 300mm/s ***EVERYTHING*** is the same except the Mini Gerbil and Lightburn. So Im not sure where the problem is Mini or lightburn. I thought I'll will start here. I dont know if it could be a $ setting or??

The difference in the two are huge the Nano is 100% better. Both of these pic are of the mini and lightburn. Any suggestions?

Hi differences can be in the imported DPIs (dots per inch). For example Inkscape set the imported dpi to 90 by default.  See what LightBurn uses (DPI settings).

Another factor is what method you choose to engrave: dither (jarvis, newspaper, halftone etc) or grayscale and the power levels. The stock M2 Nano does only dither.

Let me know your findings, cheers!

I had dpi set to 500, and in lightburn I did fill and engrave. The image is a vector image I drew up.

Yesterday I tried a different file with stars again and slowed down to 50mm/s and set LB to scan 1 object at a time, and over scan.  No differance. I tried 2 passes and same out come.

I would suggest to email me the picture and i will try it out on my setup.  Cheers Paul
