Mini Gerbil Problem with installing ...
Hello together, i'm now a few days owner of the Mini Gerbil Board. Thanks for the quick delivery 😉 But the first happiness, that i now could also use my Lightburn as i'm use for my diode laser has gone... I made all the wiring like it is shown , also try several console command to figure out what the problem is... But up to today, after many hours i didn't get the board working with Lightburn. The board's green Led is on , but no movement at all, no homing or something else... The funny thing is, when i switch back to the origininal Nano Board using K40 Whisperer everything working 😉 Limit stops, homing and all the other things... Anyone a smart solution for me ?

Hi Ansgar,
Is the red heartbeat led flashing when the board is powered on? (Don't plug in the usb cable or don't start lightburn for this test). If only the green led burns but no heart beat (the red led labeled LED2 near the crystal/USB port) then the processor is not working. If the led is flashing and you plug in the usb cable and start Lightburn, the led should stop flashing and blink when it processes G-code command or status messages.
In lightburn select within the Devices list "Gerbil-STM". The comm port should be auto or select the appropriate comm port from the list.
Check that your usb cable is a real usb cable and not a charger cable (I fell a few times for this 🙂 )

Hello Paul, Thx a lot for your quick response 😉 This weekend i rechecked once more everything ... And with changing some values, especially the direction of homing it seems to work ... Keep on testing and inform if i've some issues 😉
