Mini-Gerbil in K40: Laserswitch still functional?

Hi and Hello from Germany! 🙂

I just ordered the Mini-Gerbil for my K40 Laser.
One question could not be answered reading in the documentation:

Is the hardware-switch for activating the laser with mini-gerbil still functional?
I am not speaking about the test-fire button, but the switch for generally activating the laser.

Hi Michael,

yes, the laser switch is still functional when Mini Gerbil is installed according to instructions on a standard K40 laser.

Only the K40 front panel power level adjustment will be non-functional, because the Mini Gerbil controls the laser from software power level only.
