MG3 Install Experience
Quote from Alan Hartley on August 22, 2025, 7:19 pmI recently ordered an MG3 board to replace my failing Cohesion 3D controller, it arrived in less than a week and I was testing it 15 minutes after opening the box! Very impressed!
I was a little concerned about having to use a macro in Lightburn to do test fires for mirror alignment (I was used to using the test fire button on the laser itself) but after a little adjustment of the settings in the macro it works perfectly.

I hope the advantages of the test macro become apparent over time - it's the best way of delivering a consistent pulse that will calibrate your cutting material.
Best regards,
Dan and Paul
