Lightburn not firing my K40
Quote from mariokrupik on April 25, 2020, 2:14 amI bought a K40 over a Year ago and funded the first Gerbil on Kickstarter.
As I never got good Results I haven't done anything with it for Months, now I got a licence for Lightburn, and I can't figure out which Setting i need to tune that lightburn fires up the laser.
I have the pwm wire connected to a 3-way Switch to have the test switch.
When I send a job through lightburn, the head moves, and the laser only burns when I keep the test switch button pressed. Then it works as it should.Using Inkscape with the plugin, the laser fires as it should.

Cheers, Paul

the Wiring seems to be ok, of what I can see.
The Laser works as expected with Inkscape and your Plugin, only in Lightburn I have to press the test Button to get the Laser to work.As it works in Inkscape, I thought it would be a Software Setting, but after trying all combinations it might be something different.
Same for cncjs, it works flawlessy.EDIT: Could it be that my Gerbil Board acts different in Lightburn, as most People probably have the MiniGerbil Board?

Lightburn detected my laser as Grbl 1.1, when I changed it to Grbl it works as expected.
