Laser not burning
Quote from Brian Montesdeoca on November 21, 2024, 7:07 amHello!,
I stopped using my k40 few months ago and now the laser is not coming out the tube. Could it be the tube faulty or power supply?. Watch the video with a few test.
Any ideas?.

am I right in thinking this isn't a controller question? I think you're saying you've previously used the same method to test the beam as shown in the video, and now it's not the same?
The Co2 does leak out of the glass laser tubes over time, and some of the other gasses inside them die over time, so, yes, it could be a tube failure. I can't think how to safely test the output of the transformer...
I think you should try posting this on another general laser cutting forum, I'm sure someone else has been in the same situation.
By asking 'how long do tubes last' you'll be able to guess whether you need a tube replacement or something else. Good luck.
