is M3 command working?
Quote from LongNgo on January 13, 2019, 8:41 amI am using Gerbil + K40 with Lightburn. Lightburn generates code for Gerbil using M4 command, and it makes the laser beam not appear at the very beginning of a cut because the speed is not high enough yet.
I have tried M3 command with my machine but cant turn the laser beam on
So is M3 disabled in Gerbil? And any way to fix the above problem?
Thanks
PS: The first attached photo is a rectangle cut in Lightburn. The second photo is the result when I got four separate lines instead of one closed rectangle

I have tried setting $32 =0 and it work OK except that it does not stop the beam when moving from cut to cut, i.e. just like a CNC does not stop its spindle between cuts
