Getting a message that says restoring spindle
Quote from Motoxy on February 21, 2020, 3:09 amHi guys. I am using lightburn with my mini-gerbil and getting the message msg:restoring spindle. This stops the cut and i have to abandon it to proceed. Any clues as to why this is happening?

You might do a screen capture of $$ and post them for review. I'd be looking at $28, $30, $31 & $32 to make sure they are set correctly if it were mine and making sure $30 matches Lightburn "S-value Max" setting. If those are all correct I'd generate the Gcode and see what Lightburn is trying to send to the laser at the point it starts posting msg's.

Quote from Paul on February 21, 2020, 2:21 pmanother possibility is that the pause/resume header pin gets triggered despite not connected (static electricity). You could try to shield the controller if that is the case. Can you post a photo so we see how it is installed, sometimes we see things that people did not notice, 🙂

Quote from Motoxy on February 22, 2020, 1:41 amHi Paul. I have been working with Dan who has been so helpful. Pretty sure the $ are all correct. Put this on the forum as I did not want to keep worrying Dan to much. Here are the pics.
I would have thought that a triggered pause would be over come by a resume. But no.
