Error sending gcode
Quote from xlblackinklx on April 6, 2018, 10:01 pmSo yesterday I engraved and cut several pieces... Today I'm suddenly getting an error when attempt to send code via CNCjs, or LightBurn.
The laser homes just fine, and I can view the parameters with $$. But when I send a move command, or attempt to send a gcode file I get "Error:1 (Expected command letter)"
I've attached the console logs of both programs.

$H command works, however attempted to change the value of a parameter results in "Error 3: invalid statement"

Since you are happy with flashing the firmware I will post another firmware without the bootloader and alarm on start up. This eliminates the flashing of the laser at start up. Are you using an usbasp programmer?

Not sure exactly what a "usbasp programmer" is, so I would assume not!
I'm just using the Arduino IDE to upload the firmware after swapping out the jumpers.

I tried several different cables, on a couple machines because I thought this too... but same results.
