Dual Y Motor

Hi there,
I'm thinking of expanding the bed of my K40 and I would like to add second stepper motor to the Y axis. is it possible with the Mini Gerbil? Thanks in advance

Hi, yes you can wire two y axis motors in parallel. However the stock k40 power supply probably can't source the required motor current. So wire up an external power supply. Ensure the DC minus is wired to the common minus of the k40 power supply (gnd).
