We have seen three instances of the same issue. One user had the usb cable tied with zip ties in a cable bundle. The HT lead was causing cross talk and affecting the comms. Another user had grounding issues causing the return path of co2 tube's to use the usb cable instead the earth ( green yellow wire at power supply). There is a blog about solving the grounding issues. See K40 laser grounding instructions
The third issue was an airassist pump which was placed within the k40 control compartment. It took us an extensive investigation untill the user revealed that... case closed. So best to provide as much information as possible. Looking forward to the info.
