Problem with install
Quote from cmousseau on April 2, 2018, 3:35 pmI grabbed the Gerbil a couple of months ago, just now getting around to finding the time to install it.
I followed the install procedure, everything seems fine. Switching the wires was easy, everything looks exactly as it should in the pictures.
I turn it on, everything is seems fine, green light comes on on the Gerbil.
The PC seems to be connecting fine with it, though Inkscape is not working for me.
I went and did a test circle shape, used the extension, and turned off homing (I do not have limit switches) and turned on stream. When I hit apply the laser goes three or so times and then nothing else, inkscape shows no errors or anything.
I then went and tried it with LaserWeb and LightBurn, both of which work almost. With both, when I try to move in the X- direciton it only goes +. Basically, x- and x+ both move the motor x+. This is not a code error as I see the -1 command sent yet it goes +1.
So I guess I need help in two directions. 1) How can I get this to work with Inkscape directly? and 2) How can I fixe my x- error?
