PMW wire
I have the so called upgraded digital version k40, hooking up the mini now does this require a PMW wire? I never got one with my kit. I looking on the forum and to be honest im confused thought they the people selling this would have a diagram for each k40 style power supply. I will post a pic of what power supply i have maybe another memeber of the forum can help, I did a quick search on you tube but i dont have time to set and watch videos. I would try the facebook pages but seem im on a ban for a few more days.

Hi, yes you need a little dupont wire that connects the MG to the Power supply. PM me and I will drop one in an envelope to you. On the photo: the PWM wire goes to the middle of the three wire connection (middle pin). The other end goes to the first pin on the right of the first connect on the right of the MG when looking towards the connectors.
So you are saying that the PMW wire will have to tie into the middle white wire?

So the easiest why to connect would to cut the middle wire and solder the PMW wire to it?
Yes you could do that if you are confident with soldering. Most of our customers are not tech savvy so that is why we try to provide them with a dupont wire to plug it in.
I still keep the middle wire connected so in other words it should have 4 wires total?
sorry this confuses me a little so you better include a picture or tell me which wires connect.
e.g. 24V DC, GND, 5V DC and PWM IN makes sense to me,

So back to the PMW wire that middle wire i will have to get rid of and replace it with the one you are sending?
Ok got the wires you sent now i only need one right? I have a male/female wire and a female/female wire. So now the middle wire that came with the laser i need to eliminate that one? cut it off and cap the end? then use the yellow wire and put that in the spot or the wire i just got rid of?

Yes just remove the three wire plug and insert the dupont plug into the middle pin. The ground is already connected via the 4 PIN big power plug on the Mini Gerbil.

So i dont have to do anything with the middle wire just leave it?
Ok i been reading a few of the threads in the forum now be for i get rid of the white wire make with red look at my pictures i uploaded, so now from what i read when i replace the stock PMW wire with the dupont wire i lose the ability to test fire the laser?
