We met Dan a couple of years ago when he and Jo displayed at the San Francisco Maker Faire, and were lucky enough to get an early prototype kit before the Kickstarter Campaign. We built the kit, following the very detailed instructions provided with the parts. It was a very straightforward, and successful experiment. If you have a little bit of experience with soldering to begin with it helps, but if not, you can watch a YouTube video and learn everything you need to build the kit. We had a great time making the personal particle accelerator, and it was a blast to visit CERN this summer after building it to see how the pro’s do it! Thanks to Dan and Jo for doing such a great job on designing and building a great education kit.
