Stuttering when cutting arcs

Hi!

Just got my gerbil board in and wired up to my new laser. I'm working out some bugs and have been successful in cutting a few things using Laserweb. The only issue I can't seem to figure out is a stutter when doing small arcs. I would imagine it's a configuration setting with grbl or something? Straight lines are smooth, and fully closed arcs appear smooth as well.

I'm trying to fillet some corners for a smooth appearance, and with a 6mm fillet, the laser output and movement seems jerky, and the laser has issues cutting through in those areas. The straight lines will be fully cut through but the corners will not.

Any ideas on what to try? Maybe I have some settings in Laserweb incorrect?

Thanks!

The minimum arcs can be configured in gerbil via $11 and $12. They are already very small but you can play with it and see whether it improves with smaller or greater values. See https://github.com/paulusjacobus/grbl/wiki/Configuring-Gerbil-Grbl-v1.1e

Cheers, Paul awesome.tech

Looks like it's an issue with laserweb breaking up the arc into tiny sections and the GRBL controller not having the look-ahead for it. They don't seem to think of it as a problem because they said they wouldn't be able to do offset correction on an arc. I think that's a lazy excuse because that's how it's done in the CNC world.
