Plugged in my board
Plugging in the usb cable gets some activity on the head but I do not see the K40 on the drive directory - should I? and streaming anything from Inkscape just says it can't write to the file c:\gcode
There is no activity from the K40
How did I goof up this time?

The directory field is not auto populated because of the inkscape limitations. The function of this field is to advise the storage location for the gcode generated output file.
Dave gale is automatting this so it creates a directory like "K40" if left empty.
