My issue is when the laser is homing and stops about 50mm from home position i get MSG:Check Limits message.

The gerbil profile is auto set at 300mm x 220mm with rear left as home point .

Have you by chance tried your k40 with lightburn if so is there any other settings for the gerbil to be able to use lightburn.
